I am happy to be relaxing at home this morning! It's thundering a little so Sprout is on and we are still in our PJ's. Couldn't think of anything better to do right now. It was a fantastic school year. To celebrate summer beginning, I have 2 recipes to share- one for kids and one for adults (probably for later in the day, but do what you want with it), both yummy!
Simple Strawberry/banana smoothie:
You will need (serves 2):
Banana
6-8 Strawberries
Yogurt (I had strawberry, banana flavor)
Splash of water or juice
Ice
Slice the banana, cut the leaves of the strawberries. Combine fruit and yogurt in blender, add water and ice until you have the consistency you want. I made mine in the Magic Bullet, so I divided ingredients into 2 cups and blended separately.
*This could also be frozen and made into popsicles!

4 Ingredient Mojito:
You will need (for 1 drink, multiply as needed):
1 shot of white rum (We enjoy Siesta Key Rum)
Mint leaves
1/2 Lime (Juiced/Squeezed)
Lime slice
Sprite
Combine rum, lime juice and mint leaves- muddle/squish mint leaves as much as you can. Pour over ice, top with sprite and lime slice. Cheers!
